Four hours of powerful content for accounting firms. The only event designed to rally your entire team around the year to come.

Be part of a one-of-a-kind country-wide tour to breathe fresh life into accounting events. No slide decks, no stuffy hotel ballrooms. A unique experience to connect with fellow practitioners and energize your entire team.

Jason's hosting so you better believe we'll have fun while getting tactical. It's everything you love about the online content, in a more intimate in-person format.
We'll wrap the afternoon with an interactive version of the Jason On Firms Podcast live from the stage. Ask questions, share your perspective, and be part of the conversation as it happens.
Conferences pump leaders full of fresh ideas, but when you return home the blocker remains the same: your team! We're running this event to inspire your entire team, so you're surrounded by change agents rather than doing it all yourself.
Imagine sitting in an entire room of other local accountants who are into the same content. You won't believe the connections you'll make that could unlock everything from client referral opportunities to simply making a new friend.
The very best part of the day is when we wrap and all head to dinner together. It's where new friendships are cemented, and is just about the coolest night out you could have with your team.
To The Accountants Building The Future

In 2018 I attended my first in-person conference, and it changed my life.
I realized all of us are struggling with the same headaches, having the same client conversations, fiddling with the same tech problems.
I became a serial conference attendee. I needed all the answers. My approach changed from let's build a solution to let's find the person that already found the solution. There's nothing new under the sun, right?
That's where I hit a wall.
Every conference started to look the same. I went, I was pumped full of inspiration and fresh ideas, only to return home to a team that wasn't ready for change. They knew if they waited out my inspiration I'd eventually revert to the status quo, and the cycle repeated.
No amount of inspiration overcame this bottleneck. If anything, it created more friction with my team as my eyes were opened to the gap between my vision for what was possible, and the vision I could get my team bought into.
So I took my team to events. Surely they'll catch the bug too! It worked to a degree, but it was heckin' expensive and still a perk exclusive to our firm's leaders.
Today's large, once-per-year events are meant to serve firm leaders, but you're more than a slide deck on change management away from getting the whole team onboard your latest idea.
It got us thinking:
What would it look like to build a conference for your entire team? To inspire from the bottom up. To surround a leader with change agents. To solve the change management bottleneck, once and for all.
Isn't that the greatest gift we can give a firm leader?
Because you aren't going to pack up the team and take them to Vegas. You aren't going to burn 3 days of the entire team's time watching slide decks meant for firm owners.
So we're doing something different:
Local shows, for local folks. Half-day workshops across the country, within a 2-hour drive of most major markets.
Bring the whole team out. Plan your annual offsite around it. Get everyone in a room to be inspired together.
If you're still reading, I've probably offered you some sort of inspiration or a fresh idea at some point. Now's the time we work together to do the same for your entire team.
Welcome to a new type of accounting event 🙂
🤝 Jason
At this event the emphasis really is the people in the room. It's why you won't see any slide decks, exhibitor booths or razzle-dazzle audio/visual setups. When the smartest people in the room are the ones in the seats, you make them the stars of the show.

The internet's favorite accounting firm thought leader (self-proclaimed)

You're going to meet some impressive accountants, and they're all local to you!

Because we're all sick of hotel ballrooms and boxed lunches
We're accountants, most of us don't enjoy networking... but these events are magic. The highest-rated part of the day by last year's attendees were the topical discussions with the other firms in the room. This hurt Jason's ego quite a bit, but he's come around and we're now devoting the entire evening to this format.

Here's the rough agenda of the day's proceedings. Expect breaks, munchies, and ample time to chat with the cool people you meet along the way.
It’s just really cool to meet with local firm owners, to have people not only at the event but to have people to connect with after the event and throughout the months that these events are going on. So really good network and a lot of smart people around to get involved with.
He is such a dynamic speaker and motivates you to get back and do all these really, really great things, but also the in-person networking, meeting people. I met somebody here that is literally right down the street from me who just started, and it's great because I think that they can be a great referral partnership between the two of us, and I would never have known that had I not come here. So I'm so excited that I decided to come.
I think that it is refreshing to see that other firm owners are having the same issues as us. It’s proving that we’re not losing our minds just yet. And also just learn about anything and everything about the practice, any of the nuances, and just learn a ton about all those nuances as well as meeting other like minded professionals that are going through the same thing and the solutions.
Jason’s great, by the way, but the other people in the room, we’re all wanting the same goals and to achieve the same thing. So it’s just awesome to get into a room with people like that, realizing you’re not alone, and there’s so much more potential that you have individually because everybody’s working on the same thing.
I would recommend the event because you get to collaborate and commiserate with other people. What we do is hard sometimes. You need support and you need other ideas from other people. Outside feedback helps the loop, helps you improve and grow. That applies to anything, not just owning an accounting firm. It's anything in your life. So recommend it.
Basically, you get to come and network and help solve problems for other firm owners, and you get to have others speak into your situation that you can only hear from other people that know what you're going through.
I think first of all, aside from Jason being a cult leader, coming to these events, you meet really like-minded people that are just interested in growing and helping each other out.
So you're not pushed anything or certain agendas. It's really just very much similarly oriented people that want to learn from each other and it's just a great group of people.
First of all, for me, it’s like meeting the Kim Kardashian and Taylor Swift of CPA influencers. So I have a little bit of Hollywood syndrome, like wow, I’m really meeting a superstar. This is the guy I see on videos and podcasts and LinkedIn, and now I’m meeting him live. So that was super special.
And the other reason is there are details you can get at the live events that he covers because we ask questions, because he sees our responses, and he doesn’t get that on the podcast and the LinkedIn and the videos. This is a great way to interact and dive a lot deeper into what we want to learn from Jason. And he’s just a great guy. A lot to learn from him.
I mean, it’s a great time. You’re finding people to talk to, finding people to share ideas with. I think it’s really great that he’s bringing the events to the people and making a local event. It’s a lot more work for the organization, but it brings it to us. So why not show up?
I think the coolest part about coming to an event like this, being in the industry, one, if you run a solo firm, you’re able to find a really great community of people in the same place as you. Yes, there’s a wide variety of folks that are here, but you’re finding people that are doing exactly what you do that are either a couple steps above you, a couple steps behind you. There’s just really great synergy that comes from it, being able to share with people what’s going on, and then just being in a room with everybody that, you know, they’ve hired folks and whatnot. There’s just a lot of great wisdom and knowledge in the room.
I would recommend going to Jason on Firms Live because it's a very easy way to break into a conference. It's not as big as going to some of the larger events where you have to fly, and you can still get the networking and learning. I think it was a great half day event.
As a younger person, this has been such a great opportunity to connect with other individuals and meet like minded people and see what’s going on with different firms in the industry.
I know my wife really appreciates me coming to events like this because then I'm talking to other accountants about my accounting firm instead of her. So I very much would recommend show up. There's so many cities all across America. I drove two hours to get here. So no excuses, anybody else. Very worthwhile, and I highly recommend.
It’s a much easier way to get into a conference kind of mode. If you go to those big conferences that the AICPA puts on and all that, it’s kind of intimidating. Tons of people, you don’t know anybody. These are all local people from the area. It’s a much smaller conference, much easier way to get to know people that are in your area and do the same thing you do.
You get so much great content in the event from Jason, and then it sparks great discussion with the people here. It's such a small event where you get to know people and everyone is interested in talking to each other. So I can't wait to come back in Q2.
I think the networking, for one thing. The breakout sessions were really, really good because I think the whole concept of you’re not alone and you’re not crazy. Those are two things I need to know. If you’re going to start out on your own, you need to know you’re not alone.
It’s fun. You’ll meet good people. It’s not all just listening to someone talk. You’re actually going to talk with people in a structured way, so you don’t have to be an extrovert.
Most of us aren’t. And I mean, this is a beautiful space. I’m sure they’ve gotten similarly beautiful spaces. And I just think it’s a good… I mean, you’re going to spend a hundred bucks on something stupid. You can’t go out of your house without spending a hundred bucks. You might as well spend a hundred bucks on this. You can just spend 100 bucks here.
The average feedback rating of the 2025 tour, across 14 cities and over 1,000 accountants was a 9.2 out of 10
It's for accountants, bookkeepers and tax pros. Basically anyone practicing in an accounting or bookkeeping firm, no credentials required. If you're something else and wondering if it makes sense to join in, get in touch at events@jasononfirms.com.
This one's in-person only.
Yes! We'll be putting solos together to build new connections. When you run a solo practice, your team is really the people you've met that can aid you on your journey. We're going to give you an abundance of time with other solos (especially if you attend the dinner) to make some valuable new local connections.
See the ticketing page (linked up at the top, the green wiggly buttons) for current pricing info. Note that the price to attend the workshop only is different than the price to attend the workshop + dinner. We highly recommend you attend both since the vibes are usually off the charts at the end and you want to keep chatting with folks.
Each team member will purchase their own ticket so they can enter their dietary preferences, agree to our event terms, etc. Just share this page with your team and they'll be all set!
We aren't offering discounts since the per-head cost for us is pretty much the ticket price.
If you or any member of your team ends up being unable to join, just drop us a note at events@jasononfirms.com before the event starts and we'll refund you in full.
Absolutely! Share this page with them. We're hopeful these events draw out folks who have otherwise never attended an in-person accounting event, or haven't been exposed to modern ideas around how to run a firm. Getting them into a room like this is an amazing opportunity to turn someone on to a new way of working.
Yes we've partnered with Earmark CPE to make as much of the event CPE-eligible as possible.
It varies city to city, but generally between 50 and 150 folks.
Yep.
Tall enough to have a secret shelf his wife can't reach but shorter than the vertical apex of an unladen top shelf at a grocery store.
Yes! The event includes a live Q&A where you can ask Jason your questions directly. If you need more face time, a limited number of VIP early entry tickets are available for a meet & greet before the event starts.
The venue location is provided after signup, generally closer to the event. This is for the security of attendees and because we'll sometimes wait to lock down the venue until we have a better idea of how many folks will be in attendance.
When you buy a ticket, if you use the same email you did last year, the confirmation email will include a promo code you can share with a buddy (who didn't attend last year). If you run into any issues with this, shoot us a message at events@jasononfirms.com.
This differs from city to city, but we're putting a lot of thought into ensuring we have a memorable, safe space for everyone to enjoy the night. That includes thinking through transportation solutions as necessary.
We'll have a few in-the-room sponsors, but are steering clear of traditional expo-style activations. We'll have some sponsor-specific integrations and callouts throughout the day, but the goal is to simply enable connections where it makes sense. Get in touch at partnerships@jasononfirms.com and we can share more info. If you aren't a practicing accountant or bookkeeper, the only way to attend is via sponsorship.
Drop us a note at events@jasononfirms.com.
