Four hours of powerful content for accounting firms. The only event designed to rally your entire team around the year to come.

Be part of a one-of-a-kind country-wide tour to breathe fresh life into accounting events. No slide decks, no stuffy hotel ballrooms. A unique experience to connect with fellow practitioners and energize your entire team for the year to come.

Jason's hosting so you better believe we'll have fun while getting tactical. Also, a conversation with a surprise special guest we're flying in just for this event. You won't want to miss this.
We'll wrap the afternoon with the recording of an interactive version of the Jason On Firms Podcast live from the stage. Ask questions, share your perspective, and be part of the conversation as it happens.
Conferences pump leaders full of fresh ideas, but when you return home the blocker remains the same: your team! We're running this event to inspire your entire team, so you're surrounded by change agents rather than doing it all yourself.
Building high quality relationships with other local practitioners is hard. We're bringing together the most progressive accounting firms in your area to build new local connections that could unlock everything from client referral opportunities to just making a new friend.
The very best part of the day is when we wrap and all head to dinner together. It's where new friendships are cemented, and is just about the coolest night out you could have with your team.
To The Accountants Building The Future

In 2018 I attended my first in-person conference, and it changed my life.
I realized all of us are struggling with the same headaches, having the same client conversations, fiddling with the same tech problems.
I became a serial conference attendee. I needed all the answers. My approach changed from let's build a solution to let's find the person that already found the solution. There's nothing new under the sun, right?
That's where I hit a wall.
Every conference started to look the same. I went, I was pumped full of inspiration and fresh ideas, only to return home to a team that wasn't ready for change. They knew if they waited out my inspiration I'd eventually revert to the status quo, and the cycle repeated.
No amount of inspiration overcame this bottleneck. If anything, it created more friction with my team as my eyes were opened to the gap between my vision for what was possible, and the vision I could get my team bought into.
So I took my team to events. Surely they'll catch the bug too! It worked to a degree, but it was heckin' expensive and still a perk exclusive to our firm's leaders.
Today's large, once-per-year events are meant to serve firm leaders, but you're more than a slide deck on change management away from getting the whole team onboard your latest idea.
It got us thinking:
What would it look like to build a conference for your entire team? To inspire from the bottom up. To surround a leader with change agents. To solve the change management bottleneck, once and for all.
Isn't that the greatest gift we can give a firm leader?
Because you aren't going to pack up the team and take them to Vegas. You aren't going to burn 3 days of the entire team's time watching slide decks meant for firm owners.
So we're doing something different:
Local shows, for local folks. Half-day workshops across the country, within a 2-hour drive of most major markets.
Bring the whole team out. Plan your annual offsite around it. Get everyone in a room to be inspired together.
If you're still reading, I've probably offered you some sort of inspiration or a fresh idea at some point. Now's the time we work together to do the same for your entire team.
Welcome to a new type of accounting event 🙂
🤝 Jason
At this event the emphasis really is the people in the room. It's why you won't see any slide decks, exhibitor booths or razzle-dazzle audio/visual setups. When the smartest people in the room are the ones in the seats, you make them the stars of the show.

The internet's favorite accounting firm thought leader (self-proclaimed).

The most progressive accounting firms in the area. You're the star of the show at this event.

I'd tell you but then it wouldn't be a surprise. But seriously you won't want to miss this.
My favorite part of these events is sharing a meal together afterward. This part's optional, but I highly recommend it since you'll have met a bunch of folks you're going to want to go deeper with, and it's just about the coolest night out with the firm you could imagine

Here's the rough agenda of the day's proceedings. Expect breaks, munchies, and ample time to chat with the cool people you meet along the way.
It's for accountants, bookkeepers and tax pros. Basically anyone practicing in an accounting or bookkeeping firm, no credentials required. If you're something else and wondering if it makes sense to join in, get in touch at events@jasononfirms.com.
This one's in-person only.
Yes! We'll be putting solos together to build new connections. When you run a solo practice, your team is really the people you've met that can aid you on your journey. We're going to give you an abundance of time with other solos (especially if you attend the dinner) to make some valuable new local connections.
See the ticketing page (linked up at the top, the green wiggly buttons) for current pricing info. Note that the price to attend the workshop only is different than the price to attend the workshop + dinner. We highly recommend you attend both since the vibes are usually off the charts at the end and you want to keep chatting with folks.
On the ticketing page, just select your ticket quantity. We'll follow up when we're closer to the event to gather some additional info about you and your squad.
We aren't offering discounts since the per-head cost for us is pretty much the ticket price.
If you or any member of your team ends up being unable to join, just drop us a note at events@jasononfirms.com before the event starts and we'll refund you in full.
Absolutely! Share this page with them or grab them a ticket. We're hopeful these events draw out folks who have otherwise never attended an in-person accounting event, or haven't been exposed to modern ideas around how to run a firm. Getting them into a room like this is an amazing opportunity to turn someone on to a new way of working.
Yes we've partnered with Earmark CPE to make as much of the event CPE-eligible as possible.
It varies city to city, but generally between 40 and 100 folks.
Yep.
Tall enough to have a secret shelf his wife can't reach but shorter than the vertical apex of an unladen top shelf at a grocery store.
Usually there's time for this, but it can depend on how many folks are at the event and how many surprises come up throughout the day. But when not playing host, Jason spends the bulk of his time hanging with attendees.
The venue location is provided after signup, generally closer to the event. This is for the security of attendees and because we'll sometimes wait to lock down the venue until we have a better ideas of how many folks will be in attendance.
This differs from city to city, but we're putting a lot of thought into ensuring we have a memorable, safe space for everyone to enjoy the night. That includes thinking through transportation solutions as necessary.
We'll have a few in-the-room sponsors, but are steering clear of traditional expo-style activations. We'll have some sponsor-specific integrations and callouts throughout the day, but the goal is to simply enable connections where it makes sense. Get in touch at partnerships@jasononfirms.com and we can share more info. If you aren't a practicing accountant or bookkeeper, the only way to attend is via sponsorship.
